Open House Trimming Workshop April 5 2025
These workshops are a time for you to trailer your horse in and get one on one coaching on your trim and your horse's hooves. This can include glue on composite shoes, founder, caudal hoof failure rehab, or anything else you might need regarding the hoof care of your horse.
Workshops are open to 6 students per day and run from 10am until 3pm. Participants are encouraged to pack a lunch and snacks, as well as to bring a water bottle. There is no schedule to the day, students arrive and starting working on their horse(s) and I am there to answer questions, help with your technique and guide you.
NOTE: These workshops are for you to trim and work on your own horse, so you must haul in a horse or horses, and you must already have some base of trimming experience as there will not be enough information or time for someone brand new to trimming. You must bring your own tools, we also have tools available to purchase.
There are limited paddocks available to use during the day if hauling in multiple horses, overnight board is charged at $20 per night/paddock and $25 per night/stall, you must bring your own hay. Contact me ahead of time to arrange overnight board.
