This is a private 1 on 1 course designed to streamline the 5 Day Course material. Courses take place at our campus and the days will run from approx. 9am - 1pm.
No previous trimming experience is necessary for this course. The structure of this course is flexible and designed to be tailored to suit the individual's needs.

Private courses are only offered 2-3 times per year and sell out very quickly.
Courses can be tailored to suit the individual, whether it is honing your ability to read the hoof and develop a trimming plan, getting more comfortable with the tools, or even handing the horses during trimming. We can also focus on pathologies specific to your horse(s) and your environment. If you are already trimming confidently we can focus on hoof protection such as casting, composite shoes or other therapeutic hoof protection applications.
Private courses differ from our 5 day course training as you are learning in a one on one setting and lessons do not include tool kits (tools may be purchased at an additional cost). The 4 Day Course includes a certificate of completion.
The lesson structure will depend on the students experience level, and can be customized to the individuals needs.
Private courses are offered only at limited times throughout the year, so booking early to secure your space is a must. For follow up coaching and apprenticeship students are urged to join our Virtual Classroom.
The full course balance is due at registration to secure your space. Course fees are non-refundable but are transferable to future course dates if notice to do so is given 30 days before the course start date. In the event of a course price increase, previously paid fees will be applied towards the balance of the new course price that the student registers for.
