Laminitis and Founder Online Course
This course is designed as an add on course to our original Online Trimming Course. It explores in depth the pathology of Laminitis and Founder, the differences between the two and the rehab process.
We will explore the various causes of laminitis and how to manage the laminitis prone horse as well as trimming techniques to manage pain as well as ways to support the hoof during an acute episode.
We will also explore the causes of founder, trimming rehab plans, ways to support the horse during recovery and the long-term effects of founder.
While it is not a prerequisite that you purchase the original course before this one, it is highly recommended as the basic anatomy and function will not be covered again, instead we will dive deeper into the pathology and discuss more detailed trimming and rehabilitation plans.
